We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, and payment details. We also collect information about your activity on shantaXPRESS, including trips you post, bookings you make, and messages you send.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform, process payments, match senders with travellers, send you booking confirmations and notifications, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Payment data
Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. Traveller bank account details for payouts are stored securely by Stripe Connect.
4. Sharing your information
When a booking is confirmed, limited profile information (first name and initials) is shared between the sender and the traveller to facilitate the handover. We do not share your full contact details without your consent. We may share information with law enforcement if required by law.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for 7 years for legal and financial compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your rights
